Heritance Ayurveda Maha Gedara is a luxury Ayurvedic resort located in the town of Beruwala, Sri Lanka. Beruwala is a coastal town situated in the southwestern part of Sri Lanka, about 60 kilometers south of the capital city, Colombo.

The professional team of the Maha Gedar Ayurvedic Center consists of 6 highly qualified doctors and more than 30 therapists. The team is managed by Dr.Nalindra Wickramaratne who is the Chief Ayurvedic Physician (BAMS - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine). Maha Gedara Resort offers a variety of Ayurvedic and healing programs such as anti-stress program, body cleansing (Panchakarma), rejuvenation program, weight loss.

There are various types of rare plants and herbs grow in the garden of the resort. Many of which are used for the preparation of medicines and oils and are used in wellness procedures.

The hotel's restaurant focuses on Ayurvedic vegetarian dishes (dinner dishes classified by Dosha) and offers a large selection of fruit and vegetable smoothies and a variety of herbal and fruit teas. Guests who don’t need vegetarian food can order meat and fish dishes.
