The Malika Ayurveda Beach Resort is located on a cliff overlooking the Arabian Sea, with magnificent views of the coastline in Varkala, Kerala, India. It’s about 1-hour drive from Trivandrum International Airport. The Malika Resort combines the beauty of the Arabian Sea and the healing power of Ayurveda.

The Malika Ayurveda Beach Resort offers a variety of ayurvedic treatments, which are designed to promote physical and mental well-being. These treatments are based on the ancient Indian practice of Ayurveda, which believes that health is a balance of the body's three doshas: vata, pitta, and kapha. • Rejuvenation Programme (duration is from 14 nights)
• Rejuvenation Programme with Panchakarma and Daily Regimens (duration is from 21 nights)
• Rejuvenation Programme for Old Age Disorders (duration is from 14 nights)
• Panchedriya Shodana (Purification of sense organs) (duration is from 14 nights)
• Spine and neck Care Programme (duration is from 7 nights)
• Slimming Programme (duration is from 21 nights)
• Psoriasis Treatment (duration is from 14 nights)
• Arthritis Treatment (duration is from 14 nights)

Ayurvedic treatments are performed twice a day, total duration is 2,5 hours.

The food at Malika Ayurveda Beach Resort is vegetarian and prepared according to Ayurvedic principles. Nutrition is prescribed by the doctor individually.  There is portion meals from March to October and buffet-style from October to March.

The doctors at Malika Ayurveda Beach Resort are all trained in traditional Ayurveda and use a holistic approach to healing. They are experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate, and they work with customers to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses everyone’s specific needs.

There are currently 2 doctors in the clinic Malika Ayurveda Beach Resort: Dr. Binod Sydney and Dr. Geethu.

• Dr. Binod Sydney is the lead doctor at Malika Ayurveda Beach Resort. He has over 20 years of experience in Ayurveda and is a specialist in Panchakarma treatments. He is also a certified yoga instructor and meditation teacher.

DAILY ROUTINE IN MALIKA AYURVEDA BEACH RESORT

• Snehapanam at 05:30 AM (Thee Therapy for 3, 5 or 7 days depending on the treatment package)
• Yoga from 05:45 AM to 06:45 AM
• Breakfast between 07:30 AM to 10:00 AM   
• Have ayurvedic treatments (Morning Session)
• Relax in the garden
• Lunch between 12:30 PM to 02:30 PM
• Have Ayurvedic Treatment (Afternoon Session)
• Walk on the beach
• Have dinner between 07:00 PM to 08:30 PM
• Read a book
• Go to bed at 10:00 PM

Note : Only one session of treatment will available on the days of treatments like Vamanam, Virechana Jalaukavacharana are given. Once during the stay we will be giving one session of cooking class & one day we will be arranging sadya (Lunch in banana leaf ) also.
