Why people choose Sitaram Beach Retreat
- Staff highly experienced in ayurvedic medicine and treatment
- Beautiful location on the shores of the Arabian Sea
- Luxurious accommodations
- Peaceful setting
Sitaram 5* is a resort dedicated to authentic Ayurveda and yoga, located right on Nattika Beach. Sitaram offers traditional Kerala Panchakarma, Hatha yoga and laughter yoga sessions, as well as a variety of general wellness programs.
Resort Overview
The resort sits on the shores of the Arabian Sea in the Nattika area (Thrissur district, Kerala). It occupies a secluded stretch of coastline directly on a pristine white-sand beach, surrounded by shady palm groves.
The atmosphere here is deeply calm—broken only by the sound of the waves. It’s a space for a true “mental reset,” where time seems to slow down.
Sitaram features 27 beautifully appointed cottages, 10 treatment rooms, and a restaurant serving Ayurvedic vegetarian cuisine.
In autumn 2016, eight cottages (Stone Luxury Cottages) were renovated and 10 new Wooden Luxury Cottages were added. In 2020, the resort expanded further with nine additional Wooden Premium Villas.
There is no swimming pool. In line with Sitaram’s strict philosophy, swimming in chlorinated water during Panchakarma is believed to interfere with detoxification and disrupt the body’s energy balance. Instead, guests are encouraged to take walks along the ocean.

Medical Team & Treatments
The Ayurvedic center at Sitaram Beach Retreat is led by Dr. Vignesh Devraj, whose family has practiced traditional Ayurveda for over 100 years. The medical team consists of highly experienced professionals trained under respected Ayurvedic doctors.
The center includes 3 doctors, 12 therapists, and 4 treatment rooms.
After a detailed assessment of your dosha imbalance, pulse (Nadi), and individual constitution (Prakriti), a personalized treatment plan is designed.
Treatments are conducted once per day.
Wellness Programs
In addition to core Ayurvedic programs such as Panchakarma (detoxification), weight management, and immune support, the center also addresses conditions including stress, depression, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, cervical and lumbar spondylosis, lower back pain, migraines, sinusitis, psoriasis, eczema, and neurological disorders.
Yoga & Meditation
Alongside daily yoga practices, Sitaram offers a unique 15-minute laughter yoga session twice a week—designed to uplift your emotional well-being.
Nutrition
The cuisine is sattvic, vegan and vegetarian.
Each dish is labeled according to dosha types (Vata, Pitta, Kapha). Ingredients are sourced exclusively from the resort’s own organic garden or from trusted local farmers.
The chefs skillfully demonstrate that a therapeutic diet can also be refined and beautifully presented.
