Somatheeram Ayurvedic Beach Resort is located in Kerala, a state in southwestern India. Specifically, it is situated in Chowara, which is approximately 9 kilometers south of Kovalam and about 21 kilometers from Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. The resort enjoys a beachfront location, overlooking the Arabian Sea. Somatheeram Ayurvedic Beach Resort has a team of experienced and qualified Ayurvedic doctors who provide personalized consultations and oversee the treatments and therapies. The team of physicians in the clinic consists of 20 doctors and 90 therapists with special training in administering Ayurvedic treatment and is led by Dr. Raman, who is a renowned Ayurvedic physician with over 35 years of experience. The doctors at Somatheeram conduct thorough consultations with guests to understand their health concerns, medical history, and individual dosha (body type) constitution. Based on these assessments, they develop customized treatment plans and prescribe specific therapies, herbal medicines, and dietary recommendations.

 

The restaurant at Somatheeram provides a multi cuisine with a variety of dishes including vegetarian dishes to those undergoing Ayurveda treatment.

 

As for entertainment in the clinic, there are a range of variety like courses and workshops on Indian dance, music, philosophy, leaflets, meditation and yoga. Diverse cultural programs are part of the evenings at Somatheeram and it helps to learn more about dance, music and other cultural art forms of Kerala.
